Willow & Stumpy

I was asked to help a small team of animators on 30 second stints for Skysports coverage of the ashes tournament. Role: Animated following two Episode's         (A fellow artist helped a little on Extra's)

Underground Ernie

A Commissioned 26 episode children's TV series based around Ernie, an underground supervisor, his colleague's Millie, Mr Rails the maintenance man and some tube trains.

Software: Lightwave with Messiah

Job 3D Animator: Part of a small team Animating all elements of each given scene. (Take storyboard, Lip sync, planning and then animating shots, Not to forget other animators shots that fit around yours).

Pied Piper

  Pilot about Pied Piper oh Hamelin, pipes the children away from the homes. He Tries to teach the town a lesson, but something goes wrong and the gang are trapped in a whirlwind of time.

Software: XSI

Job, RND Facial Rigging & Animation: To research, develop and setup all the facial rigs on all the characters in the episode. This was a great opportunity for learning a huge amount about rigging in XSI ( version 1 at the time, difficult at times) and experimenting with new techniques.

Key Features. Facial rig was setup based on the muscles in the face, these where then enveloped to drive the face. With the limits of XSI v1 at the time, Painting the envelopes was a big challenge, because of the amount of subtle blended weights (in some parts 4 or 5 objects sharing point envelope weights, trying to get the right balance of shared weight paints was the key). Each rig was also setup so that u could easily transfer facial animation from different heads. I also wrote Scripts to help with repetitive task's, because of the amount of heads to rig in the given time.

The Petal People

These animated clips are taken from a 10 minute pilot episode, based on a children's book's by Pauline Earle's. It was Launched in April 2003 at MIPTV in Cannes

Pilot Episode call Eternal Strife, about a man who, due to a slip-up, is informed by Death that he is immortal.

The Wheels On The Bus

The Wheels on the Bus is a 3d animation series based on the popular children's songs.

A Commissioned 26 episode children's Tv series based around Beep the Bus and his friends Trombone, Double Bass, Sax, Drum and Daisy the Dog as they journey around Sing Song City. (Narrated by Dawn French)

Software: XSI

Job 3D Animator: Part of a small team who together completed each episode. Divided each Episode into scenes and animated all parts of it. (LipSync Character Animation)


Marathon Entertainment

Graphic for company Logo.

     Software: 3ds MAX with Character Studio

Job: Completed all parts of the Marathon Entertainment Animation Logo (Modelling, Texture, Lighting, Animation & Composition)
